Stephanie Roe
Dr. Stephanie Roe is the Global Climate Lead Scientist at World Wildlife Fund (WWF), working to advance the science on climate mitigation and adaptation and nature-based solutions to inform practice and policy. She is a Lead Author of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report, the 2024 Emissions Gap Report and the Biodiversity and Climate Change Assessment; and is member of various science advisory boards including the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) Technical Council. Dr. Roe’s research and expertise focus on land-climate interactions, integrated approaches to climate, biodiversity, and social well-being, sustainable land-use, food and energy systems, and pathways to 1.5ºC.
