Alejandra Calzada

Alejandra Calzada is WWF Mexico’s climate change adaptation coordinator. In this role, she works with government agencies, civil society partners and local communities, coordinating efforts to reduce the vulnerability of ecosystems and communities to climate change, particularly in protected areas.

She has experience working in government institutions, and the private sector, and she has worked as a consultant for civil society organizations, international cooperation agencies and government institutions.

Alejandra has a master’s degree in conservation from Colorado State University and the Colegio de la Frontera Sur. She is a biologist by training.
